and talked down to like a biscuit tin from the cookie monsters

always wondering that something worse must be round them corners
resentment though Fosters like a warm can in the waters

home or away we need good neighbours for our sons and our daughters
authentic authors became awkward bloggers
now austerity has got us and the robots took our jobs as
we blamed the immigrants who had already lost us
as we took a liberty, a land grab and a resource
then cut the chord said no visitors and slammed the fucking door
we want our passports to take us anywhere we want
Cause we think we re a lot better coz its what we've been taught
MLK showed peace can complete many complicated feats
Rosa Parks sat down and put her feet up on the seats
Yet history repeats and history repeats
For every fleeting victory a million more defeats
We re getting sick to the teeth
of being kicked in the teeth
but freedom is slavery and war is peace
It's echo chamber double speak
But who am I to preach ?
